Streets Of Gold

Tile: Streets Of Gold

Place: Winona Lake, Indiana

Description: This is a picture I took a while ago on a day when I didn’t have too much time to take pictures. I really love this photograph for the color and theΒ silhouetteΒ of the church in the background. The content is great and all, but the meaning behind it is even better! What I think of when I see this picture is a street of gold leading to the church where we learn of the real streets of gold that we will experience if we are born again believers in Christ Jesus! What a great thought. πŸ™‚ Anyway, that’s what I see in this picture! In reality though… This street is a stone bench which sits about 300 feet from the church… But never mind that! πŸ˜› Hope you enjoy!

Weekly Photo Challenge: Geometry

Title: Weekly Photo Challenge: Geometry

Place: Niles, Michigan | Niagara Falls, Canada

Description: Alright, so I checked out the weekly photo challenge for this week and thought I would give it a whirl. I don’t normally take very many pictures of architecture and geometric shapes because I like to get up close and personal with my photography, however, this does not mean I don’t have any at all. πŸ™‚ The first two images were taken in Niagara Falls, Canada (If you’ve been with me the last week, you know all about Niagara Falls, if you haven’t, then you should definitely check out my last week of blogs! πŸ™‚ ) I love these two images. Surprisingly enough the first one was taken while I was driving (don’t worry, I didn’t take the picture myself, my girlfriend (now fiancee πŸ˜‰ ) took it for me. The third picture was taken in my fiancee’s hometown. It’s actually just a part of a railroad bridge that I thought would look really good in black and white. πŸ™‚ I think I was right! Ha! Hope you all enjoy these pictures. πŸ™‚

A Day With Dad

Title: A Day With Dad

Place: Cleveland, Ohio

Description: Well for the first time in a while I went home and so my dad and I finally had some time to hang out together. We had a lot of fun at the game especially since the indians won! These are two photos I took after the game. The first one is a panoramic photo (thus the lower quality), and the other is just a normal picture πŸ™‚

To Bean or not to Bean

Title: To Bean or not to Bean

Place: Chicago, Illinois

Description: For those of you who have ever been to Chicago you probably know that this is… It’s Chicago’s giant bean! Why? I really don’t know… My girlfriend and I were trying to figure out if there could possibly be any reason but we couldn’t think of any πŸ˜› Oh well!

Hue-riffic And Aura-ful

Title: Hue-riffic And Aura-ful

Place: Niles, Michigan

Description: Well I was looking at my blog and it seems like it’s been far too long since I had an abstract photo, so here it is! This was a great picture I took while going on a walk with my wonderful girlfriend (bless her heart for being patient with me while I took pictures, haha! ❀ you girl!) I really love this edit because nothing is so washed out that it looks impossible… Looks like you're just looking at the world through some weird colored glasses πŸ™‚ Hope you enjoy!

A Perfect Springs Day

Title: A Perfect Springs Day

Place: Niles, Michigan

Description: Alright alright… The title of this photo might not have anything to do with the picture πŸ˜› Though I do really love the colors in this photo and the pier, however, the real reason this was the perfect Springs day is because I was with my girlfriend in her town πŸ™‚ This was the last time I saw her before coming back to Indiana for work… So it’s sort of special to me πŸ™‚ Can’t wait to see her next!

A Little Black, A Little White

Title: A Little Black, A Little White

Place: Niles, Michigan

Description: I was out on a walk with my beautiful girlfriend taking a ton of pictures when we happened upon this old railroad bridge! Unfortunately I couldn’t get the exact picture I wanted because of a gate keeping people off the bridge, but I did get this picture πŸ™‚ Edited it to black and white because I think it looks a lot better this way. ^_^
