Life, Love, and Ladybug

20131117-110309.jpg
This picture has a lot of meaning to me personally. The whole picture represents life. You and I, we are the lady bug, just a dot on the red painted railing of life. As you can see I’m on the red, life is ok right now. There’s no major difficulties or problems. Your ladybug might be in the grey… We all have these grey areas, as you can see there’s some ahead for me as well. But we must always look ahead to the red… The grey does not last forever. Let this image be one of hope for you.

A Little Older, A Little Better

I’m not sure how many of you followers are still out there, but I’m still here! There’s a lot that has been going on both in the artistic world and my personal world. I’d like to say that I’ve gotten a little better with my photography, and have also picked up some graphic design as well. I also learned to make animated .gifs, so you might see some of those on here as well! But other than that, this post is just to say I’M BACK and ready to roll!

Hope you all like this picture she took! If you don’t I’ll hunt you down! πŸ˜‰ Juuuust kidding πŸ˜€

Description: Alright, so I hope that everybody has a chance to take a look at this blog post today because I am really proud of myself! This day’s blog post is a slideshow of pictures that I put together through some color editing apps I have! I hope you like it because I definitely do! If you just wait for the slideshow it will go through all of the colors, or you can speed it up yourself by clicking on the right arrow. πŸ™‚ (Does anyone know how to speed that up? If so, let me know!) Anywho, this picture was taken in Winona Lake during the fall! Can you guess which picture is the original picture? πŸ˜› Let me know what you think of this latest installation! I hope to try more things like this in the future. πŸ™‚

Meddling With Petals

Title: Meddling With Petals

Place: Winona Lake, Indiana

Description: Call me a sucker, but I actually took this picture for my girlfriend a long while ago. πŸ™‚ I was walking back from a photoshoot and saw this one lonely petal on the ground and when I looked closer I saw that it looked like a heart! So like any good sucker I decided to take a picture of it and sending it to my girlfriend at the time! πŸ™‚ Apparently she likes that sort of thing since we are engaged now and to be married in less than four months! I’m excited!!!! πŸ™‚ Hope you enjoy this picture as much as I do πŸ™‚ And if you have that special someone, send them this picture (I give you full permission!) to let them know that you ❀ them! πŸ™‚

So Close!

20130203-234446.jpg

Title: So Close!

Place: Warsaw, Indiana

Description: So this is labeled “So Close!” For two reasons. First of all is for the picture itself! We were the first car in line last night for a train… The train was moving SOOOO SLOOOWWW which means I was able to get a good 12 pictures of it before it passed, haha! But anyway, it took a really long time for it to get to the area where we were waiting because we all know that when the lights are flashing that you don’t dare cross even if you know nothing is close (isn’t it weird how that is instilled in us as children…) Anyway, besides my psychological argument there, there is another reason why this is “So Close!” Because as of right now I am writing this at 11:48 pm eastern time which means that I am about 12 minutes for missing my first day this year… Psh, no way! Hope you guys like this! I’m glad I still am holding to posting everyday this year πŸ™‚

The “El Dorado” Effect

Title: The “El Dorado” Effect

Place : Winona Lake, Indiana

Description: Well here is another addition to my color manipulation! This is similar to the picture that I had before with me as the silhouette, but this time it is just the sunset. πŸ™‚ It was a beautiful evening that day and the sunset was amazing! I know some may not like this because of the grey skies, but I love it for the gold ocean below. πŸ™‚ As many of you probably know, the name El Dorado means city of gold. I thought that was a great name for this one. πŸ™‚ Hope you all like this!

Weekly Photo Challenge: Unique

Title: Weekly Photo Challenge: Unique

Place: Winona Lake, Indiana

Description: alright, so when I was looking through my pictures for something that was unique, it didn’t take me too long to realize that this is the picture I was going to choose. I love snowflakes… They are so beautiful and wonderful! Just watching thousands of them fall from the sky in a wintery blizzard is amazing to see. (But horrible to walk through…) However, for me, even the blizzard doesn’t compare to the beauty and uniqueness of the snowflake on a micro level. I really love this picture despite the fact that it is a little blurry. Hope you guys enjoy it as well!

A Silhouette Of Grey

20130131-223805.jpg

Title: A Silhouette Of Grey

Place: Winona Lake, Indiana

Description: alright so I tried something new with my color selection app on my iPad. First of all, this was a sweet picture that I took with my fiancΓ©e while it was fall. The original version of this tree is bright orange and looks really nice (don’t worry, someday I will post that one too) but I thought it looked really cool to just show the blue background and leave the foreground grey. Lt me know what you think about this idea and color selection πŸ™‚ I would love to hear some honest input!

The Dispersion

Title: The Dispersion

Place: Fort Wayne, Indiana

Description: Alright, so a week ago Gabrielle and I and a few other friends decided to go to a Christian concert called Winterjam. This concert is really cool! There were a lot of bands that played that I love, but the culmination of it all was Toby Mac playing at the end. Oh man do I love his music… Anyway, I decided to bring my camera to this concert and take a bunch of pictures. Sadly, since the light was so darn horrible I didn’t get any good pictures of the bands, BUT! I did get these two sweeeeet pictures of the disco ball they had in the center of the arena! It looked so amazing… Let me know what you think of it and if you have ever seen something so awesome at a concert!
